Nowadays, the technology content of vehicles is getting higher and higher, and there are more and more configurations. The buttons on the center console are more and more, more and more complicated, and they are all in English or symbols. It is really not a good idea to learn. Know what they are used for. Therefore, many drivers basically don't use the buttons on the car, and only use a few simple ones, such as turning on and off the radio. Because I don't know what it is, and I can't use it. Here is an introduction to a few of the more common buttons.

1. Engine start-stop system switch

In order to save fuel and environmental protection, a lot of advanced technology equipment has been added, and the engine start and stop is one kind. When the vehicle is braked to stop from the driving state, the start-stop system will automatically shut down the engine. When it is necessary to continue driving, the engine is automatically started to achieve the purpose of fuel saving and environmental protection. It is often used in urban areas and other red lights, but it can start the fuel saving function. However, many people are not used to using this system, so even if the vehicle is equipped, they do not use it. One thing before driving is to turn off the start-stop system. As shown in the figure below, it is the switch of the start-stop system, so the car looks like this. The system is in the open state by default. If you don't want to use it, press this switch, the system will shut down, no longer start and stop automatically.

 2. Reversing radar and automatic parking switch

Radar switches are available on some cars, and some do not. Of course, automatic parking switches are only available on cars with this system. The reversing radar is also turned on by default. If you press this switch, the radar is turned off, and there will be no noise when reversing. Because the reversing radar is still more useful for reversing, so try not to turn it off. After the automatic parking system is turned on, there will be a prompt on the vehicle dashboard, telling us what to do, where to drive the car, whether to engage in gear or to brake, just follow the above prompts. In fact, automatic parking is not very reliable. Don't rely on it too much. It is the key to practice our own parking technology.

3. Vehicle stability system and steep slope descent switch

The vehicle stabilization system is called ESP or DSC on different models. When the vehicle is out of control, it can control a certain wheel to brake to drive in the direction expected by the driver and reach a controllable state. For example, oversteer, understeer, etc. can play a corrective role. The switch icon is a trolley slippery, and it says OFF underneath. Basically all cars have this icon. The system is turned on by default. Press this icon to turn it off. When we use the car normally, it is recommended not to turn off this system, because its effect is really great. There are only a few special circumstances that can turn off ESP, such as drifting, the vehicle slips in the mud, etc. The steep slope descent function is used in long descents. It combines engine braking and ABS anti-lock braking system to maintain a "low speed without losing tire grip" when the vehicle is descending steep slopes. When it is turned on, it can control the speed of the vehicle without stepping on the brake when going downhill. The vehicle will be controlled by the central control unit through the data monitored by the sensors.

4. Tire pressure monitoring system switch

Many cars now have a tire pressure monitoring system. Many cars that do not have a system are also equipped with a system, because this system has a relatively large effect. It can prevent tire punctures, extend tire life, and know the tire pressure of your car at any time. Its logo is an exclamation mark in parentheses. When there is a problem with the tire pressure, this light will be lit on the meter. The button with this symbol is a reset button of the tire pressure system. The tire pressure system cannot be turned off. If there is a problem, you can press this button to reset. After resetting, the warning light on the meter will be eliminated. Some cars do not have this button, the reset function is in the instrument menu settings, and the driver needs to find it by himself.

5.ECO energy saving mode switch

After the energy-saving mode is turned on, upshifts will be more active, and downshifts will be slower. Keep the engine speed low and the gear high to save fuel. However, vehicle power will decrease, acceleration will become slower, and carbon deposits will also be produced relatively faster. Because the gear is high, the engine speed rises very slowly, so the power comes very slowly.
